Shirt to Shirt and a Giveaway

This shirt was inspired by the collar. See the adorable details? I LOVE it. I wanted to make a breezy, comfortable shirt to put it on. The shirt was patterned after a shirt in my closet that fits well and is a pull over style so it was easy to replicate. Or at least it should have been.
This shirt was a long time in the making and I took the arms off 4-5 times to get it right so I don't think this one will have a tutorial. I just love the way it turned out and wanted to share. The buttons down the back are just for show but I love that they have gathering between them. The yoke was one piece and you could sew it onto any shirt, so don't worry if you can't make a shirt. The yoke is from Decorative Details. It is an amazing shop where you can find all sorts of ribbons, bibs, elastics and collars.  I love the items and I love the prices. You should definitely check out her shop.
In fact I LOVE her shop so much that I asked her if she wanted to do a giveaway for Candied Apple's readers and she agreed! Decorative Details is giving away $15 of store credit to the winner! That will buy a whole lot of goodness! All you have to do is visit her shop and come back here to leave a comment ON THIS POST telling me what your favorite item is in the shop. If you want a bonus entry you can blog about the giveaway or post it on facebook and then come back and leave a second comment.

The giveaway will be open through Thursday February 10 at midnight Pacific Standard Time. The winner will be announced on Friday February 11.
