Spring Break is OVER
My little break is officially over. I had a minor health issue that thankfully seems to be all cleared up now! I know some of you are dying to know the nitty gritty but I'll spare you the details and just say I had a very large ovarian cyst removed and now I'm feeling awesome. So, back to the fun.
I hope you all had a fabulous Easter. We shared ours with some of our dearest friends. It was wonderful. I bought this adorable vintage yellow dress on Etsy and Calder wore a vintage romper I found at the thrift store. I love it a lot and honestly, so does he.
I'm still going strong on the nothing new challenge. I recently used a Walmart.com gift card to buy printer paper and an Easter gift for Calder. Printer paper was a bit of a gray area but since I had the card I thought it would be a good thing to use it on.
Clothing has been a bit of a challenge lately. I have the opportunity to go to some great dinners and special occasions and I'm struggling with what to wear. In the past I would use these opportunities to buy something new but obviously that won't work. I am going to try to make a cute dress for my sister's wedding in June but I have some more business attire functions coming up soon that have me stumped. I think I can use things I have but they don't seems special enough because they've been sitting in my closet. I guess consumerism still has a hold on me.
