Book Recommendation

A few weeks ago I was looking for new books to download to my Kindle. I was particularly interested in the free books, since I can't buy any new ones this year (although I have a gift card for Amazon burning a hole in my wallet). Anyway, I found this book called Freckles by Gene Stratton-Porter. It was free and had awesome reviews. Oh is it ever good. If you have a Kindle, please download it for free and read it, if not, buy the book or get it from the library. 

It is based in the Limberlost swamp in Indiana. It is a compelling story about a boy, without a name or family who comes to find love and great wealth. I couldn't put it down once I started and I really think it is worth seeking out.
