Baby Shirt & Bloomers

Oh my goodness this is going to be fun! I have about four dresses cut out and ready to sew. Girl clothes are so easy because you can use fun trims, buttons and bows to make something really sweet and unique. Boy clothes require meticulous tailoring and stitching to make it really awesome. I feel like my creative juices are exploding.
This yellow trim is a sweet vintage find from the thrift store. I adore it and only had a tiny bit. Just perfect to go around the neck.
This is supposed to be about size 6 months and it is a shirt, not a dress. I'm so loving it and think it could be so versatile. You could throw on jeans and a long sleeved brown onesie and you have a winter outfit. Or she can wear it like this in the summer. You never really know how big your baby is going to be, so I'm trying to stay versatile. Or at least I'm really awesome at justifying and making excuses.
Oh and the sweet little yellow button in the back. This dress took about an hour to whip up.  For the bloomers I used Dana of MADE's pattern. You can find it here.
