April Giving - Missionaries
We had a marvelous day! My husband got to stay home today, which may not be a big deal to most of you but it was for us. We started our morning with french toast, using homemade bread and topped it with strawberries, bananas and syrup. It was amazing!
Then we went for a bike ride. I got the most adorable bike at the thrift store the other day for $39.00! It is a blue beach cruiser from 1984. I love, love it. I'll show you pictures soon. Calder rode his balance bike and Jason walked along side him.
Then we spent the rest of the afternoon watching General Conference for our church. I love General Conference. It is a time for us to hear from the church leaders. We get this opportunity ever six months and they are my favorite Sundays of the year.
I took this picture last year when we lived in Columbus and had other missionaries over for dinner. Then ones we had over for dinner tonight were just as happy! |
For my act of service today we had the missionaries from our church over for dinner. I love having the missionaries to dinner and it doesn't really feel like service at all. They are always so nice and happy. It's just fun to have them at our house and Calder LOVES it.
I'm working on a few projects that I'm so excited to tell you about! Stay tuned...
