Fruit & Animals

 This was my latest haul from Costco. My friend Ariel and I have an awesome system where we go together and then split the food while we eat hot dogs and pizza at the restaurant. Our kids love it, we love it. We do it every few weeks and get a ton of fruit and vegetables. My latest favorites were these tiny pears and the strawberries.

The June photo challenge for today was animals. We don't have any animals at our house and  so I decided to photograph our owl. My son picked this out at the thrift store. It was an ugly brown with creepy yellow eyes. We spray painted it as soon as we got home. Now we all love it. Calder carries it around the house and talks to it. So, I guess this is as close to an animal as we get.
