Me Made March - March 17

 Last night I hurried and made this skirt because I wanted something fun and new to wear to pick my parents and brother up from the airport. I have had an idea in my head for a skirt like this for a long time. I had one yard of Ikea fabric (50 inches wide) and cut it to the length I wanted. I used elastic thread to gather the top and then folded it over to look like a paper bag skirt. Then I made this belt to hold it all together. I'm thrilled with the outcome. It was nice not to have to use a zipper or make button holes. This is quite possibly the easiest skirt ever. I'll work on a tutorial.

 Oh and I wore a green necklace. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
