Me Made March - March 26
What a crazy day. I started out thinking we would stay home and decompress after our week of running around DC but a bunch of errands popped up and away we went. The weather is getting cold again and I'm pulling out my thickest wool scarf. I refuse to get out my coat, so this is the outfit for the day. I found this fabric at JoAnn's a long time ago. It is 100% wool and I love the tiny black / brown houndstooth. I frayed the edges and sewed around to stop the fraying.
I thought it would be fun to tie it like a tie today. Yep, I know how to tie a tie. My sweet husband and I learned together when I was 16 and he was 17. How romantic huh?

I love this massive mix of neutrals; gray, brown, black. Who says you can't mix them? See that blue t-shirt peeking out from under my sweater. I actually cut the bottom off of a t-shirt I didn't like much and sewed it on to the bottom of my black sweater. You can't see the seam and I love that it extends the length of my sweater. That is such an easy fix!
My two year old is back behind the camera and better than ever. He told me how to stand for the photo below. Although it is blurry, I love it.
