Me Made March - March 7

We had a fabulous day of errands, grocery shopping and an afternoon walk to the library. It was sunny but a little cold. I ended throwing on a jacket for our walk but otherwise this outfit served me well. I just got this vintage skirt from a thrift store. Honestly, it doesn't really make me look thin around the middle, but I still like it. It is navy corduroy with a slit up the center front and back. Maybe it would be more slimming with a different top. I'll keep you posted.

The shirt is the same pattern as Saturday's black gingham tunic. I am just on a gingham kick lately. And I really love this pattern. I can't wait to make a bunch more shirts. This one is an actual shirt instead of a tunic. I wanted it to be a little longer though because I often have problems with shirts being too short, so I added two inches to the bottom of the shirt pattern.

I love the blue thread on the white buttons on the shirt and the pop the scarf added to the outfit.
