Baby Gifts & A Bike
This is my latest thrift store steal and I'm so in love. I paid $39 for it and it works wonderfully. When I got it there was dust all over it and the tires were flat. Thankfully I didn't have to replace the tires and it cleaned up well. Now I just need an iBert so Calder and I can go for bike rides. I found one on craigslist but someone beat me to it by 30 minutes or so. Those things go fast.
I get in moods to make baby gifts and I like to have them somewhat stockpiled anyway. So this is what I've been doing lately. Here are a few items I've added to the pile. Obviously ironing them is not a huge priority right now since I'm not actually giving the yet.
The above two are onesies. I have to say I love them. I may do a boat one for Calder since it's just so darn cute.
And some burp rags. I was telling some friends lately that I'm sort of over the whole burp rag thing but I think it's because I've been making them for so long. They are still useful items and of course it is better to have cute ones than not.
My month of giving is not going very well. I have a lot of things I'm working on but it's not as easy as I thought to execute something every day. Some of these projects take longer than one day, you know? So I'm going to switch it up to a big project per week and then be on the constant lookout for ways I can give spontaneously.
