Alphabet Tiles
This is my last set of tiles, I promise! This is a fun alphabet set. It is just 26 tiles with a picture that starts with that letter. I made these just like the stamped set I did for my son for Christmas. They have paper glued (with rubber cement) to the backs and the pictures glued to the front. I rounded the corners of the letter papers. It is so easy!
Match Game Printable
Remember when I made a match game for my son for Christmas? Well, I am finally getting around to finishing the other two sets I have laying around. I thought it would be fun to make a printable for you guys so you can make them too.
Felt Mustaches
For my son's second birthday party we had a "Little Man" theme. It was perfect for him and his awesome sense of style.
Candy Cane Pants
Remember last year when I made these pants, these shorts and these shorts? Well, I am at it again. This time I made red and white ticking pants with red contrast piping.
Baby Gifts
My friend Andrea is having a baby (Yay!) and I wanted to make her something sweet and special. These were just the ticket. Have you ever seen something so cute? I love how small and man-like they are. I imagine they will fit between 3 and 6 months. Perfect for late spring.
Toddler Style
My two year old son has amazing fashion sense. He picks his own clothes and usually does very well. He often pulls off outfits that most people couldn't and gets tons of compliments on them.
Orange Suspenders
As I mentioned in my 2011 Sewing Inspiration post I really wanted to make orange suspenders for Calder. He has since requested green as well. I love how stylish he is and that he gets so excited when I make something for him.
Halloween 2010
This year my son wanted to be a garbage man for Halloween. The problem with being a garbage man is that without a truck nobody knows what you are. So I made a truck to go along with his gloves, hat and vest.
Robe
I'm slowly but surely whittling down my list of Summer sewing projects. As you may recall I wanted to make a robe for Calder to wear after his bath and at the pool. This is the cutest cotton terry cloth I've seen in a long time. I would wear something out of it. I love that it's not cartoonish or even childish but seems appropriate. It is white with black birds in flight on it.
Striped Shorts
You may be getting tired of all these little boy clothes but I am on a roll! I can whip up a pair of these shorts blindfolded at this point. I also love that they don't look 'home sewn'. I feel like I am finally capable of creating commercial looking clothes for Calder. Hopefully I can start making more for me with such success.
Jeans
I have had really good luck with finding small cuts of denim on sale. I love it! I paid $2.00 for this piece and have a bunch left over. I love the dark wash and it has a tiny bit of stretch so hopefully it is more comfortable. Once again I used the lovely Simplicity pattern I used for these shorts and these pants. I am just digging this pattern. It's easy, fits well and is easy to personalize.
Yellow Cords
These are by far my favorite pair of pants I've made for Calder yet. I think it's all the contrast stitching. It doesn't hurt that it lines up and everything. They are a bit big but that's because I want them to fit through the Summer. From my Summer sewing list these are the pants that can be rolled up to shorts. They are the same pattern as the gray shorts but with length added and different back pockets.
Calder's New Jacket
I had this t-shirt that I bought at Warped Tour about 6 years ago. I've probably worn it about 6 times. The shirt was skin tight. You see, for some reason they think girls want skin tight t-shirts when they go to Warped Tour.
