Clarendon Lane
Recently Katie started offering design services for FREE. All you have to do is send her an email with pictures and your questions. She has a running list on the blog so you can see where you are on the list and then when it's your turn she will email you with ideas, suggestions, links to things she thinks would look good in your room or whatever design question you ask.
Camera Strap
I had the awesome opportunity to test a pattern for See Kate Sew. One of my favorite blogs! I love being a pattern tester because it is usually a surprise what you get to test. It is a fun challenge to do something I haven't already done or maybe even thought of doing.
SYTYC Interview
Hi! I am Camilla Wilcox from Candied Apples. I am a low maintenance gal who prefers to look a little more high maintenance. I love knowing I have painstakingly chosen or made every item in my house and they are all things I love. If I don't love it, it doesn't stay. Purging my home is a hobby of mine.

Anthro Inspired Bag
A few weeks ago I fell in love with this nautical bag from Anthropologie. I was determined to make it myself. Here's the original at $68.00.
The Perfect $1.50 Bag
What is the perfect bag? Well, it must be big enough to hold the essentials, light weight and cute. Oh and if you're a mom, it should probably be washable, of course.
The Kitchen (in detail)
I borrowed a jig saw to cut the hole for the dog bowl to sit in. Then I painted it, drew on the burners for the stove and tiled the back splash. It only took one sheet of tiling and cost about $6.00. I used caulking from a tube instead of grout because it doesn't really need to be water secure and you can't buy just a tiny amount of grout.
SYTYC Week 2 - Make Believe
What do you do when your kid asks for a hideous plastic play kitchen? Make them a really cool one! This started out as a wooden microwave cart from the thrift store. It got a major facelift.
The Last of Me Made June
I had such a good time with Me Made June. I really learned where I need to add more to my handmade wardrobe. I think I need more accessories and button up shirts. Those are definitely my favorite handmade things to wear. I also love my jeans and want to make more pants.
Quiet Book Tutorial
I am so flattered! Thanks for liking for my quiet book. I must be honest. This is a lot of work, but so worth it. This is the quiet book your kids will want to give to their kids. It is built to last and fun to make.
New Shirts
Calder had a few plain t-shirts and polo shirts that we decided needed a little something special. So we found some patches at the thrift store to spruce them up. Check out these beauties!
